Boy Scout Postcards

Founders

Actually, the author includes in this category not just those individuals credited with helping to found and mold Scouting, but other prominent figures, such as E. Urner Goodman, who have had a positive influence on the organization and who have appeared on postcards.  Every U. S. President since Teddy Roosevelt has been involved with Scouting, and postcards can often be found that tie them to the movement as well.  Also, it is possible to find postcards that show specific local individuals in their Scouting capacity.  Any of these could enhance a collection.  So could one showing a celebrity in a Scouting context.
