These beautiful cards were first published in Prague with Slovak titles.  A second printing was published in Paris with titles in French and broken English.  This printing seems to be associated with the 1947 World Jamboree that was held in France.  The unknown artist is assumed to have disappeared into the Gulag shortly after.  The full set probably contained ten postcards.  Large size artist's sketches and watercolors of preliminary designs are known to exist.
