New England Boy Scouts

The very first issue of Boys' Life, March 1, 1911, reported that the New England division of American Boy Scouts had withdrawn from that organization because of its alleged mismanagement and was in the process of incorporating as the New England Boy Scouts (N.E.B.S.)  The B.S.A. purchased Boys' Life from its founder, N.E.B.S. treasurer George S. Barton, in 1912.  The New England Boy Scouts existed as an independent organization until 1916 when it merged into the B.S.A.

So far, no postcards have been identified that are specific to the New England Boy Scouts.
