The purpose of this site is to document those postcards related in some fashion to the history of the Boy Scout movement, particularly in the United States.*  While there is a very large number of Scouting memorabilia collectors, the vast majority collect patches, badges, insignia, books and similar items.  Although many will add to their collection an Eagle Scout (RPPC) occasional postcard showing their favorite camp, a Jamboree they attended, and so forth, only a handful (literally) really collect postcards, and many know little if anything about them.  However, many facets of the history of Scouting have left few if any images, and sometimes almost no written evidence, beyond that which was captured on postcards.  It is hoped this site will become a resource for those who would like to know a little more about their postcards and the Scouting history they represent.
