This Annual Regatta of the Sea Scout Division, Boston Council was held on September 17, 1939 at the Charles River.  Commemorative cachets on envelopes were printed as souvenirs of the event.  The stamps were canceled in black by a hand cancellation at Charles River, Mass.

The cachet is printed in red and has a comic notation to it.  It was signed by the Skipper J A Watson of the Sea Scout Ship Donald McKay.



The cover is signed by Skipper Jenson of the Sea Scout Ship Admiral Dewey.



This is a blue printed cachet.  The cover is signed by Skipper Hannigan of the Sea Scout Ship Olympia.
