Stephens] Convention Center, Chicago, Illinois.  Sponsored by: American Philatelic Society.  Philatelic exhibits and literature exhibition.  Contact Information: Ken Martin, P.O. Email kpmartin@stamps.org.  Stampshow is open to the public, and free of charge.  Show Hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday.  The largest annual philatelic event in the United States, STAMPSHOW will include 150 dealers, three auctions (six sessions), several postal administrations, multiple first days of issue including four new carnivorous plant stamps from the United States, cachetmakers bourse, participation by approximately 50 national societies, more than 100 meetings and seminars, and rare stamps such as the Jenny invert and the 1¢ Z Grill.  In total the show will include 875 frames (14,000 pages of material) with representation of all exhibit classes.  This includes the new charity/promotion/cinderella and illustrated mail divisions and 41 competitive single frame exhibits.
